Achievements:
Lynn Wood is Chairman of Noni B Ltd and a Non-Executive Director of GPT Funds Management and CEDA. Her previous board positions include HSBC Bank Australia, Macquarie Goodman Group, The Foreign Investment Review Board and NSW Lotteries Corporation.

Lynn’s executive career focused on both the retail and financial services industries. Her executive appointments have included Sales and Marketing Director NE Asia, American Express; Marketing Director - Cards, Citibank; Marketing Division Head, Myer NSW; Marketing Director, David Jones and Executive Director, Schroders Australia.

Following her executive career Lynn consulted to leading companies such as Westfield, Macquarie Bank, Commonwealth Funds Management, Telstra and Unilever. She also developed, managed, then sold two SME businesses.

Lynn’s not for profit leadership contribution is substantial. As well as being a current Non-Executive Director of CEDA, Lynn has been a Non-Executive Director of MS Australia Ltd, MSW Ltd and Women Chiefs of Enterprises International. She was a member of the Economic Development Council of NSW, Alumni Council AGSM and Women’s College Council, University of Sydney. She was also Chairman of the Property Trust Chapter and a Non-Executive Director of the Investment Funds Association [now IFSA], Chairman of the Eastern Region Entrepreneur of the Year Award and Chairman of Hands Pty Ltd, a commercial venture of MS NSW.

Lynn has an MA (Psychology) from the University of Sydney and an MBA from the AGSM, University of NSW. In 2003 she was awarded a Centenary Medal for her service to Australian society through business & finance. She won a scholarship in 2008 to attend the AICD International Directors Course in Singapore.



Catherine Livingstone AO


Brief Summary
Catherine Livingstone is on numerous Boards, including Director of Macquarie Group Ltd , Telstra Corporation Ltd and WorleyParsons Ltd and was formerly Chairman of CSIRO (2001-2006) and Chairman of the Australian Business Foundation, as well as having been CEO of Cochlear Ltd from 1994-2000.

Biography
After qualifying as a chartered accountant and working with PriceWaterhouse in Sydney and London, Catherine joined the Nucleus Group and spent 20 years working in the field of implantable medical devices, including 6 years as CEO of Cochlear Limited from 1994-2000. Catherine is currently a Director of Macquarie Group Limited, Telstra Corporation Ltd and WorleyParsons Limited. She is also a member of the New South Wales Innovation Council and a director of Future Directions International and The Royal Institution of Australia.

Catherine continues to support The Australian Business Foundation, (an independent business–sponsored research think tank focussed on the concept of innovation led growth), having been Chairman from 2002-2005, and has also served on the Boards of Goodman Fielder Ltd and Rural Press Ltd as well as having been the Chairman of CSIRO from 2001-2006 and the President of Chief Executive Women from 2007-2008. Catherine attended IMD International, Programme for Executive Development in Switzerland, in 1992, and was the Eisenhower Exchange Foundation Fellow for Australia, in 1999.

In 2000, Catherine received The Chartered Accountant in Business Award, in 2003 was awarded a Centenary Medal and in 2006 received the Macquarie University Distinguished Alumni Award


Elizabeth Bryan

Elizabeth Bryan was the first woman appointed to run a large financial institution in Australia.
In 1992 she became New South Wales State Super and Investment Management Corporation.
In 1996 she was appointed managing director of Axiom Funds Management,
She is currently a non-executive director of two listed companies, Caltex Australia and Ridley Corporation



Jill Segal
Jillian Segal has been an adviser and non-executive Director since January 2003. She is a non-executive director on the board of ASX Ltd and the National Australia Bank Ltd. From 1997-2002, she was a Commissioner and then Deputy Chair of ASIC. She is also President of the Administrative Review Council and a Member of the University of NSW Council

Jillian Broadbent

Member of the Board of the Reserve Bank of Australia and a Director of Coca-Cola Amatil Limited, ASX Limited and Special Broadcasting Service (SBS). She was a President of Chef Executive Women for 2005/2006. She was Chairman of the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) from 2005 to 2007. She graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in economics and maths. Jillian was made an Officer in the Order of Australia in 2003. She has an Honorary Doctorate Degree from the University of Western Sydney and was awarded the Qantas/Bulletin Business
Woman of the Year in 1987. She was a recipient of the Australian Centenary Medal in 2001 in recognition for her contribution to the community.


Belinda Hutchinson

is a Non Executive Director of QBE Insurance Group Limited, St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, Sacred Heart Hospice Limited and St Vincent’s Private Hospital, Sydney. She was previously a director of Telstra Corporation Limited, Coles Group Limited, Energy Australia Ltd, TAB Limited, Crane Group Limited, Snowy Hydro Trading Limited and Sydney Water Corporation, and President of the State Library Council of NSW.
She has a Bachelor of Economics Degree from the University of Sydney and is a Fellow of the Institute of chartered Accountants in Australia with a broad corporate experience. Belinda has a wide area of expertise including; Banking, Charitable Organisation, Consultancy, Financial Services, Government, Health, Information Technology and insurance. Belinda was previously an Executive Director of Macquarie Bank from 1993 to 1997. From 1992 to 1993 she was Director of Client Service responsible for overseeing client service and managing key client relationships.
From 1981 to 1992, Belinda was a Vice President at Citibank Australia. From 1989 to 1992 she was Head of the Financial Institutions and Transaction Services Group which provided cash management, trade finance, custodial services and debt syndication. From 1987 to 1989 she was Chief Administrative Officer of Citibank in Australia which included the position of Chief Financial Controller. Prior to this she was NSW Corporate Finance Head arranging onshore and offshore financings for major clients such as Coca Cola Amatil, Consolidated Press, Esso and IBM.

Belinda commenced her career with Andersen Consulting where she worked for seven years in Australia and the USA in the design and implementation of management information systems for a wide variety of clients.



Elizabeth A Alexander, AM. BCom, FCPA, FCA, FAICD - (age 64)
Chairman
Miss Alexander was appointed to the CSL Board in July 1991 and became Chairman on 1 October 2006. She is a Director of Boral Limited and D.B. RREEF. Miss Alexander is a Member of the Takeovers Panel, Deputy Chairman of the Financial Reporting Council and past National President of the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants and of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She is Chairman of the Board of Advice to the Salvation Army (Southern Command), National President of the Winston Churchill Fellowship Trust and Chairman of the Finance Committee of Melbourne University. Miss Alexander is a Member of the Audit and Risk Management Committee.

Dr Eileen Doyle

Dr Eileen Doyle has been appointed as a non-executive Director of Boral Limited.

Dr Doyle has had a distinguished career in the materials and water industries in Australia, including five years in senior operational roles with CSR Limited including CEO of CSR’s Panels Division.

Prior to that Dr Doyle spent 13 years with BHP Limited in various senior operational, marketing and planning roles and four years with Hunter Water with responsibilities for planning and policy development.

Dr Doyle is a Board member of the CSIRO and a non-executive Director of OneSteel, GPT Group and Ross Human Directions Limited. She is also on the Board of two non-profit organisations, Hunter Valley Research Foundation (Chairman) and Hunter Founders Forum (Director).
